Dhurandhar 2 Teaser to Play With Border 2 in Theatres; Eid 2026 Release Confirmed
Jio Studios is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the upcoming Dhurandhar film lives up to the massive hype created by the content of the first part. According to reliable sources, Aditya Dhar has re-edited the end-credit sequence of Dhurandhar into a teaser format, which will be screened across cinemas nationwide starting January 23, along with Border 2.
A source told Bollywood Hungama,
“The idea is to once again plant the release date firmly in the minds of moviegoers. Dhurandhar 2 will release on Eid 2026 — that is confirmed. The teaser, along with some new visuals, will help reinforce the date.”
According to another source close to Bollywood Hungama, both Dhurandhar and Border are targeting a similar audience base, and this move serves as a direct message to cinema lovers to return to theatres on March 19.
“Both Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 are patriotic films, and the Jio Studios team wants to capitalize on the current wave of patriotic cinema. The new teaser cut, created from the first film’s end credits, will also be released digitally after its big-screen premiere. For now, it will remain exclusive to theatre audiences.”
Dhurandhar 2 is set to clash at the box office with Toxic, and the battle between these two big films continues, as the makers of the Ranveer Singh–starrer are in no mood to change their release date.
“This reflects the Dhurandhar team’s commitment to the audiences who showered immense love on the first part. They intend to deliver exactly what was promised.”
Meanwhile, the trailer of Dhurandhar 2 is expected to be released towards the end of February.
