The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has released the results of the National Science Olympiad (NSO) for the 2025–26 academic year. Students who appeared for the exam can check their SOF NSO results on the official website, sofworld.org.
To access the result, students need to enter their name, email address, and mobile number, select the exam name, and provide their roll number.

About the Exam
The National Science Olympiad is an annual academic competition conducted for students from Classes 1 to 12. It is designed to test students’ understanding of scientific concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
The exam usually includes multiple-choice questions along with problem-solving tasks. It is held in two stages—Level 1 and Level 2. Students from Classes 1 to 12 studying in SOF-affiliated schools are eligible to appear for Level 1, while Level 2 is open only to students from Classes 3 to 12.
Based on class-wise performance, the top 5% of students from Level 1 qualify for the Level 2 examination.
The syllabus for both Level 1 and Level 2 covers a wide range of topics, including metals and non-metals, carbon and its compounds, reproduction, electricity, magnetic effects, and control and coordination.
Awards and Recognition
Winners will receive awards and scholarships at the international, zonal, and school levels. The top three international rank holders will be awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates.
In addition, schools and teachers will be recognised with awards and scholarships at the international, regional, and district levels. Principals and teachers will also receive certificates of appreciation and gifts.
