2026 Renault Duster Kal Launch: Top 5 Key Details Jo Aapko Pata Honi Chahiye
The model that popularised the compact SUV segment in India is all set to make a comeback. We’re talking about none other than the Renault Duster nameplate, which is returning to India in its third-generation avatar after a break since 2022. With Renault set to launch it tomorrow, here’s a quick look at the five most important details about the 2026 Duster that you should know:
2026 Renault Duster: Exterior
Renault is already selling the new Duster in several international markets, so we have a fair idea of how it looks. In some countries, it is also sold under the Dacia brand, which is part of the larger Renault Group.
While the overall design will be similar to the international-spec model, there are expected to be a few changes. Recent teasers have revealed slim LED DRLs and connected LED tail lamps. To give it a more muscular stance, the SUV is likely to get chunky front and rear bumpers. From the side, expect large alloy wheels (possibly 17 or 18 inches) along with thick body cladding to enhance its rugged appeal.
2026 Renault Duster: Interior
Although Renault hasn’t officially revealed details about the India-spec Duster’s cabin yet, the international model gives us some clues. We expect Renault to add several premium touches to elevate the look and feel of the interior. These could include soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door pads, along with leatherette seat upholstery.
At the same time, the India-spec version is likely to share several elements with the global model, such as a three-spoke steering wheel, a dual digital display setup, and other common features.
2026 Renault Duster: Features
In terms of equipment, the India-spec third-generation Duster is expected to offer a large central touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, a fully digital driver display, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
On the safety front, it could come with multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and possibly even Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
2026 Renault Duster: Engine and Transmission
While the engine and gearbox options for the India-spec Renault Duster haven’t been officially confirmed yet, the SUV is available with multiple powertrain options in international markets.
